The Night of the 5k

On Friday, October 2, some of the top professional, college, and high school runners in the East Coast took to the track in Jersey City for some fast 5k’s. Some of the competitors were chasing olympic trials standards, a few were looking for high school records, but most were simply looking for a chance to race hard during a year were opportunities were scarce. It was a special night of racing with some fast times and impressive results.
